divided by oceans and borders. united by culture, language, and identity.

What the Atlantic Could Never Steal

Black history, culture, beauty, and influence stretch far beyond one continent. From the United States to the islands of Cuba and the Dominican Republic, throughout the Caribbean, and across cities like London and beyond — I’ve captured the stories, flavors, rhythms, and languages that hold us together.

They are threads the transatlantic slave trade, forced migration, and every attempt at erasure could never sever.

May the stories and traditions of our ancestors remain steadfast in our everyday lives — guiding us, grounding us, and keeping us connected across oceans and generations.
